1. What We Collect

We collect information to help you connect with compatible people. This includes:

Basic info you provide: name, age, date of birth, gender, pronouns, sexual orientation, who you'd like to meet, and profile details.
Photos you upload.
Your answers to Vault of Curiozzity questions and profile prompts.
Email address for login and account verification, and an optional phone number you can add to your profile.
Location. With your permission, we collect your device's location (including precise coordinates) to place you in the right city and to consider distance in your compatibility assignments.
Contacts you choose to avoid. If you use "avoid people you know," the phone numbers of the contacts you select are uploaded so we can exclude those people from your introductions. We never upload your full address book.
Purchase history: records of your subscriptions and in-app purchases, used to provide and support those features.
Usage data: how you interact with the app, such as likes, introductions, chats, and settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Create and manage your Curiouzz account.
Introduce you to compatible people based on your preferences and answers.
Display your profile to potential connections (excluding your email, phone number, or any private data).
Communicate with you about updates, new features, and support.
Improve the app experience and develop new features.

3. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Systems

Curiouzz uses artificial intelligence and automated systems to support and improve certain features of the app, such as onboarding experienes,discovery and recommendations, safety and moderation tools, fraud prevention, analytics, and product improvements.

Personal information processed by these systems is used only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and in accordance with applicable data protection laws. AI systems may analyze user-provided information, usage patterns, and interactions within the app to help operate and enhance the Services.

We do not use private messages or personal content to train third-party artificial intelligence models in a manner that identifies you, unless otherwise disclosed and permitted by law. Any service providers involved in supporting AI-related functionality are subject to confidentiality and data protection obligations.

AI-assisted features are designed to support the user experience and do not make final or binding decisions about your relationships, interactions, or outcomes on the platform.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

How we handle sharing:

We never sell your data to third parties..
Your profile info is visible to other users, but your private information (such as email and phone number) is never displayed publicly
We may share data with service providers for hosting, analytics, or support but only as needed to operate Curiouzz.
If required by law, we may disclose your data to comply with legal obligations.

5. Advertising and Measurement

We work with Meta Platforms, Inc. to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to understand how people find Curiouzz.

With your permission, we share a device identifier and limited information about your activity in the app — such as creating an account and completing the Gatekeeper — with Meta. This helps us understand which of our ads brought people to Curiouzz, and helps us open new cities sooner.

On iOS, we ask for this permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt when you first open the app. If you decline, we do not share a device identifier with Meta, and you can continue to use every part of Curiouzz exactly as before. Declining never affects who you are introduced to, your compatibility assignments, or your place in line.

You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Meta's handling of this data is governed by their own policies, available at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to keep your data safe. Your account is password protected, and sensitive information is encrypted.

7. Your Choices

You can edit or delete your profile at any time in Settings.
You can request a copy or deletion of your personal data by contacting support@curiouzz.com.
You can control notifications and what information you share in your profile.

8. Children’s Privacy

Curiouzz is for users age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our app evolves. We’ll notify you of significant changes.
