How Curiouzz Uses Your Contacts
“Avoid someone you know” is optional. It makes sure Curiouzz never introduces you to people you already know.
What we collect
- If you allow access, your phone shows you your contacts. Nothing is sent to us until you choose people.
- For each contact you choose, we save their phone numbers and email addresses to your account. We never upload your whole contact list.
- You can also add your own phone number. If someone who knows you has asked not to be introduced to you, your number lets us honour that. It is never shown to other members.
How we use it
- We compare these numbers and email addresses with the details members signed up with. If someone matches, we never introduce the two of you, in either direction.
- Nobody is told. The people on your list are not contacted, and no member can see who is on it.
- We use your list for this one purpose only. We never use it for marketing or advertising, and we never sell it or give it to anyone else.
Where it is kept
- Your list is stored with your account on our servers in Canada and is sent to us over an encrypted connection.
Changing or removing it
- To change your list or remove your number, email support@curiouzz.com and we will do it within 30 days.
- Turning off contact access on your phone does not remove people already on your list. Email us if you would like them removed.
